September 8th, Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park

Today we hiked the 1-mile out-and-back trail from the north end of the canyon further up into the Narrows, and then continued on the self-marking River trail. Literally -- you have to wade if you want to continue upstream. It was a complete blast -- warm day (although the canyon gets very little direct sunlight, so we did wear warmer clothes), cool water (not that cold in September!). We then drove to Bryce canyon, got our campsite, and started visiting the scenic points off the main road. A busy day, but a lot of fun.
