We drove from Henderson, NV to Zion National Park, arriving around 6pm
(local). Our Golden Eagle Pass proves it's worth, and they let us in
free. We are camping at the Watchman Campsite, which is towards the
southern end of the canyon, near the south entrance and Springdale,
the town which provides a lot of the tourist business -- both souveniers
for those with RVs, and showers for those without. We just set up
camp and ate, then went to sleep.
As it turns out, very very strong winds start each night in the canyon,
as the temperature cools. I was glad both of us were in the tent, because
I'm not sure that I alone would have kept the tent from blowing over.
Okay, I probably would have, but barely. *smile*.
No pictures this day.
